About Patricia McClay
My name is Patricia Smith-McClay, and I have been married to Jessie McClay, Jr. for 32 years. Together, we are blessed with five daughters and two sons, as well as nine granddaughters and one grandson.
I have been preaching for over 20 years, and I was ordained in the Church of God in Christ in September 2002. In September 2012, I was further ordained as an Elder in the Lord’s Church.
Throughout my academic journey, I have earned three degrees: an associate's in business, a bachelor's in human resource management, and a master's in organizational management, which I completed in 2018 after six years of focused study from 2012 to 2018.
For over 12 years, I have served as the Chief of Staff for the Greater Philadelphia Community Alliance. In addition to my professional work, I have just completed my first book, titled Prayer Changes Everything.
If there is one thing I hope you take away from my story, it is this: God is good and faithful. Prayer is the most powerful part of this
Journey and it changes everything. I have found my true calling in prayer, and I am deeply committed to this ministry in this season of my life. I love God with all my heart, mind, body, and soul. There is nowhere I would rather be than in His presence, and I am at my best when I am in my prayer space. My proudest moments are being called a child of the King, being the wife of Jessie McClay, and the mother of my daughters. But most of all, I am filled with joy and gratitude as a grandmother to my beloved grandkids. I love them with all of my heart.
